This website would not exist as it is now without the hard work of many individuals around the world. I'm talking about all those people that make software and unselfishly allow others, such as myself, to use it for free! This page is my way of thanking those people for their work.
- Etomite is a clean and easy-to-use Content Management System. I chose it after considering a number of alternatives, and I haven't been disappointed!
- Menalto's Gallery is, not surprisingly, software that you can use to create and maintain galleries of pictures and/or photos. It is fairly easy to integrate with Etomite, which I why I chose to use it!
- Aura is the name of the template that I built my site on. The template uses CSS for lay-out and positioning, which is great! The downside is that customizing it takes quite a bit of digging and graphics juggling!
Obviously, there are countless more programs that I have used and learned how to use in the proces of creating this website, that I won't all name here. I'd never done anything with Apache, PHP and had only been using FreeBSD for about a year. It's been... let's say... very interesting!
