Life goes on, and, amazingly, one learns how to adjust to a baby in cast :-) There are moments that we almost forget Min Yi is in a cast. The last few days, however, she has reminded us frequently. She's feeling... well... cranky! My own theory is that she's hit the ceiling of her capabilities, just lying around, and she can't move on to the next level, which would be: moving around. There's only so much you can do when you're lying on your back.

Also, the temperature has shot up again, and it's not comfortable for her. I'm sure her legs are very itchy, if not worse. Just today we made an appointment to have her legs checked. This coming Tuesday they will create a little "window" in her cast, so that we can see how her skin is doing. Hopefully just dry and itchy instead of wet and opening up.

So yeah, the terrorism thing... reading Bruce Schneier's blog I came across this weird story about a one-year-old being detained because her name appeared on the no-fly list! Crazy, what a world and all, but above all: I'm so happy Min Yi has a Chinese name! After all, how many terrorists with Chinese names do YOU know?
