Yay, they delivered my wheelchair today!!! (I would have never expected to write this down without a trace of irony before my 60th birthday, but such is life).

This makes me so much more independent. I can move around AND carry some items now, something that's impossible when you walk with two crutches. Also, I can 'race' around the house with Min Yi on my lap, and she likes it. She grabs both arm rests and holds on for dear life.

I try to help where I can in the house, but honestly it's not much. My production high-light of the day is that I handicrafted 56 hip-diapers (hip-parents will know what I'm talking about). Without Li, this household would have ground to a halt by now. She's the one that keeps everything going now. Among us, SHE's the real trouper.
