We've got our daughter back! Last Friday we went to the hospital for a check-up, and after some advanced maths (ruler and pencil on a print-out of the X-ray, measurement of the acetabular index) we were told that Min Yi's hips are now fine!

Such a message is actually hard to believe after months of traction, cast and braces. Li was like "so she can just do everything now?" and the doctor smiled: "her hips are FINE now.". But, if left like this, apparantly 5 out of a 100 kids' hips deteriorate again, so Min Yi will need to continue wearing the braces at night only, for another 6 months. But hey, big deal :-)

Our daughter back, a walking dad (other good news that I didn't write about yet) and finally we can go to Malaysia! It wouldn't be prudent though, to write too much after such a long leave of absence. So I'll leave this post at what it is now: small but significant (and bilingually alliterate).
